The ASG NEiTA Awards for Inspirational Educators is the only national community-centred teaching awards program that gives parents, secondary students, early childhood and school communities the opportunity to formally thank their hard-working and inspirational educators and leaders.
It was started in 1994 when the Australian Scholarships Group (ASG) formed the National Excellence in Teaching Awards (NEiTA) Foundation to promote public recognition of inspirational educators and leaders in Australian and New Zealand schools and early childhood centres.
