Free School Holiday activities for preschoolers in Tasmania

City Park in the heart of Launceston has beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers, Japanese Macaque monkey enclosure (open from 8.00am - 4.00pm) , duck pond, senses garden, monuments, chess board, barbeque area and a children's playground. Main entrance: Tamar Street or corner of Cimitiere and Lawrence Streets.

Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery has activites for children and special holiday programs: mini beasts, Aboriginal stories and the mystery trail.

The ArtSparks Family Art Space is designed to engage children through observation and interactive interpretation of art and features the Portraits of You, Portraits of Me exhibition.
Young budding artists can enjoy activity stations with easels and drawing materials for creative play and art-making.
